    • We’re open weekends only in the fall (Sept-Oct), 9-5. The atlatl event is October 26th this year. We close for winter then reopen weekends in April-May. Summer we’re open every day 9-5.
      Come on back sometime.

  1. I hope I can make it. It has been 47 years since I first got my hands dirty at this site.

  2. What is the date for the NM Cultural Heritage Month open house? American Archaeology Magazine says May 2, but the information on this site states 3rd and 4th.

      • *&^%!! I won’t be able to make it as I have an all day event in Hobbs on the 3rd and was planning to make the trip a two-fer. I’ll still be in the area on the 2nd, so will have to make do with a trip to the museum.

  3. I’ll have to re-arrange the whole weekend first. I had planned on heading home from Hobbs on Sunday as I have a meeting Monday night. I’ll see what I can do.

  4. I was able to re-arrange some of my weekend, so I’ll be at BD on Sunday. Any special considerations that day for charter members of Mu Alpha Nu?

    • Too bad you’ll miss the Prehistory Day event though. The site is open and there will be an excellent person at the Visitor’s Center to fill you in on recent work.
