This series produced by the BBC had its run in 2010, but I thought it was worth mentioning now just in case anyone missed it. A History of the World in 100 Objects is a series of podcasts that seek to tell the story of humanity through various objects, including the Rosetta Stone, an Inca gold sculpture, credit cards, and most importantly to us here at Blackwater Draw- the Clovis point. In the podcast on the Clovis point, a member of the British Museum relates some of the known evidence about the tool, as well as the people who were part of the Clovis culture and how they came to inhabit the Americas. This podcast also features commentary by Gary Haynes.
I have posted a link below to the BBC website where the podcast, photos, and a brief introduction can be located. Additionally, the podcast is available on iTunes and can be found by typing in A History of the World in 100 Objects into the search bar.
